To who don't know the Moleskine notebook, I dedicate a short
introduction. Thoughts to the simplest and multipurpose of the booklets:
ivory pages of good paper, a bookmark and an elastic that close all between
two rigid covers of black simil-skin. This is the historical Moleskine.
From the 2004 I draw on my booklet the face of friends and famous persons.
This is not only a way in order to pass the time, but is more like a belonging
ritual.

Fabio Iaschi is born in Parma in 1980 in full economic boom. In this climate of social climbers, new riches and yuppies, he grows up, play and favour his passion for the drawing. Therefore in his heart grows the idea to transform what that more he loves in his job and pushed him to choose artistic studies.
In 1994 he is the youngest student of his class to the first year at the Paolo Toschi Art Institute in Parma. The encounter with passionate and competent professors is fundamental for his stylistic formation, but also characterial. The "caccole" and the slices of salame of the Prof. Garulli, the "patacchini" of the Prof. Cassano remain memorable like an infinite series of memories.
In the '97 he achieves the certificate of Master of Art, in 1999 the Diploma in Graphic Design and in the November of the same year a short collaboration with CoNNet begins, as web designer. In the months succeeded Fabio learns to move in net, of it comprises the bases, the language, make practice of bitmap graphic, vectorial and animation. Ten important months for his technical formation. In 2000 he's web designer for Media Strategy, widens its acquaintances in the field of the Flash animation and experiences the team job.
In all these years the passion for the drawing has grown, but not completely esternate. The art and the expression of himself remain the thought center theme for Fabio. This Moleskine is the test.
